I was in Alaska for a short trip from July 11 to July 20 of 2009. I brought my camera and took many shots while I was there. Here are some albums.

This train trip was from Anchorage to Denali National Park. There were so few people in coach that we got to sit up in the dome cars the whole time.
There were several beaver dams and lodges a short walk from our hostel in Healy.
This building was visible from our hostel and I hiked to it. The coal is mined across the river. It is brought by conveyor to this side, then loaded into cars on the railroad.
Molly, Amanda and I went on this hike on Mt. Healy. It was incredibly hot, about 85 degrees, I drank all 3 liters of water I was carrying.
Before we left Denali we went to see sled dogs and sleds in the park.
If by bus you mean Saturn Vue... broke down 20 miles outside of Denali with 200 left to go.
We spent a lot of the next day driving, and we car-camped in a buggy spot, which is why the photo is from the car.
Molly and I rode a water taxi across the Kachemak Bay to do a 3 day hike around Grewingk Glacier.
We hiked straight to the Glacier the first night. It was so cool with the wind coming down off the glacier that we decided to spend the night there.
This was a very steep hike up the ridge to the left of the glacier. We started this hike at about 7pm, with not a lot of water, so we turned around halfway and came back to camp.
It was an 8 mile hike from our Glacier Lake campsite, down to the tram, and back up the left side to the face of the glacier. We camped at a tern ~800 ft from the glacier.
We walked back and were going to get our pickup 6 hours early, so we changed the pickup to our original dropoff and backtracked.
After the long hike we came back across the bay and slept in this cabin on the beach.
On our way back up the Sterling Highway, we went on a hike around Fuller Lakes. It was overcast and rainy but still very bright into evening.
